How are you today?
Today M and I are celebrating Valentines day,
Because we both work on Thursday and will only see each other for maybe an hour that day.
We're headed to my favorite restaurant!
I personally loathe Valentine's day; partly because theres just too much pressure.
And
Partly because over the years I had some shi-to-the-tay Valentines.
No offense to them; I played the "I hate this holiday" card flawlessly so I totally get why they didn't even consider going all romantic on me.
Moving on!

Because I do!
I took her to work and Misty and I went crimp happy.
This crimper is vintage, she's at least 15 years old.
It was fab!
Plus M just bought me the Beautiful Creatures series!
He knows me so well.
V-day Success.
We're also boycotting beer for 2013.
I honestly have no clue why, but M swears its for the best.
I'm only in it so I can win and maybe shed a few lb's in the process.
FUN FACT: PDX has more breweries per capita than any city in the US.
So we're drinking Cider.
Isn't the Whiskey and Wine print cute, it's actually the top half of a birthday invite I made for the boys.
TWO of them are turning 29 this week and we're celebrating on Saturday!

Someone asked what the big deal was about Downton Abbey. I love it and I really can't explain why!
I'm not a big Vday fan either, never have been. Enjoy your celebration though! I've read the first Beautiful Creatures book, just need to go get the rest.
I´m one of those who loathe Valentine´s day as well... Too cheese I guess for me. Althoug I´ve never enjoyed it never say never, right?? XD

I *really* want the whiskey & wine print!! Beer has soooo mnay calories that you don't think about. M is probably right. If I could just get to the gym regularly I could drink more beers. Ugh! Also need to start that series!

Isn't it insane how many breweries Portland has? Grew up there and didn't start "enjoying" (I use that word loosely) beer until I moved to the east side. Weird. And V-Day totally blows. I'm gong to an anti-V-Day gathering on Thursday. Pretty excited actually! :)

I have an iPad and a Kindle Fire -- the iPad is definitely the better buy. More quality apps available for the iPad, plus you can use the iPad for work and play, not so much with the Kindle Fire. Another thing to note, you can store documents on both, but when deleting anything from the amazon cloud you have to do it one by one - I just spent an hour this weekend deleting old apps and documents from my kindle, it was awful. Hope this helps!
